{"id":2510,"date":"2018-11-20T00:39:39","date_gmt":"2018-11-19T22:39:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2019.estofestival.com\/?page_id=2510"},"modified":"2019-03-01T19:54:06","modified_gmt":"2019-03-01T17:54:06","slug":"opening-concert","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/2019.estofestival.com\/en\/opening-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Opening concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>ESTO 2019 Opening Concert &#8220;Aegade sild \u2013 Bridge Across Times&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h4>June 28th, 2019, 14.45, Helsinki Senate Square<\/h4>\n<p>The ESTO Opening Concert in Helsinki will bring together supporters of Estonian culture from around the world for the purpose of formally opening ESTO 2019 through Estonian music, folk dance and choral music.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to involve Estonian musicians, conductors, singers and dancers from outside of Estonia, first of all, to show ourselves how many participate and contribute culturally, and secondly of course, to introduce Estonians and our culture to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Directing the choirs will be Estonian conductors living and working in Finland, <strong>Guido Ausmaa<\/strong> ja <strong>Helge K\u00f5rvits<\/strong>. <strong>Kaie Kuut<\/strong>, who leads the Estonian folk dance group \u201c\u00dclelahedad\u201d in Helsinki, will direct the folk dance groups. <strong>Raigo Megerild<\/strong> will perform in between acts.<\/p>\n<p>The concert program consists of songs and dances which, over the years, we have performed at the Song and Dance Festivals.<\/p>\n<h3>Choirs:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Mu isamaa, mu \u00f5nn ja r\u00f5\u00f5m<\/strong> (F.
